Who we’re looking for:
An experienced Project Manager with 5 years experience in Mechanical Construction.
What you'll bring:
5 years of experience in construction management in the Mechanical/HVAC/Plumbing industry
Must possess strong analytical and conflict management skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues
Develop a working knowledge of labor allocation, planning, management, critical path scheduling, safety, permits, and change orders
Working knowledge of HVAC, Piping, Sheet Metal, Welding, Rigging, Managing Subcontractors
Skilled at establishing and working collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with multiple projects and priorities
Proven success in project management, with the ability to demonstrate past individual and team achievements
Some of what you'll do:
Coordinate and actively manage all project-related activities, including:
Material, equipment, and subcontractor scheduling
Reading and thoroughly comprehending blueprints for all trades
Proactively identifying issues that could lead to problems and facilitating their solutions
Attending in-office and/or off-site meetings
Studying complete sets of contract documents, including drawings, specifications, schedules, building rules, and regulations
Creating and maintaining schedules, receiving, distributing, delegating, and completing all punch lists
Documenting and managing the project closeout process to assure timely completion
Where you'll work:
You will spend your days in our offices with some time in the field. You have to have the ability to sit, stand, bend, stretch and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
You will be in and around the Township of Millstone, NJ. You must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
There is no hybrid component to this schedule. We like to bounce ideas off each other in real time... because that's how inspiration happens!
